SelfLube Ski Lift Bushings are made of C954 aluminum bronze. C954's hardness and excellent resistance to galling and wear make it one of the best bearing materials available.
This type of bushing has been used extensively in automotive tooling and has proven to be extremely rugged and reliable with very long service life.

1990: Engineer and Manufacturing Consultant Phil Allor purchased some used CNC equipment from a local tool and die shop and began manufacturing precision bronze components used in automotive tooling. He called the new company SelfLube.
Now SelfLube has a modern 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Western Michigan. It makes over 10,000 standard part numbers for over 3,000 customers across the U.S. and Canada.
